Our raw material comes from the food industry. It begins a transformation process that turns a natural resource into stable, durable leather.

The bovine hides we work with come from the food industry. This natural raw material is given a second life through expertise accumulated over generations of tanners.
Bovine hide consists of a dense, three-dimensional network of collagen fibers. This natural structure gives it strength, flexibility and stability, as well as the capacity to absorb dyes and finishes without losing its character.
It is not a man-made material, but the result of a natural architecture whose complexity remains difficult to reproduce artificially.

Each layer has a specific function and determines the leather’s performance, feel and final application.
The premium surface
This is the outer layer and the visible surface of the leather. It defines the appearance, feel and character of the material that reaches the finished product.
The structure
The middle layer contains most of the collagen fibers. It gives leather its strength, flexibility and natural body.
The foundation
This is the hide’s inner layer. During processing, it can be adjusted to achieve the required thickness and can also be used in other sectors, ensuring the raw material is used in full.
The word “leather” does not describe a finish or an appearance. It describes an origin.
According to ISO 15115:2019, only material obtained from an animal hide and preserved through tanning may be called leather. This natural structure gives it properties that no artificially manufactured material can fully reproduce.
The value of a hide depends on more than its natural structure. It also depends on knowing its origin and documenting every stage of its journey.
We prioritize hides of European origin and use traceability systems that allow us to verify the origin of every batch.
Every batch includes verifiable information about its origin from the very first link in the chain.
We work with suppliers who comply with European animal-welfare regulations and documented selection criteria.
Every hide can be tracked throughout the process using identification and control systems.
The quality of the finished leather depends largely on how the hide is handled from the outset.
